Get ready for PADI AWARE week 2025 with Scuba Dive Online! From 13–21 September, our dive family is uniting worldwide. Together with some of the best PADI 5 Star IDC and CDC centres, we are focusing on conservation, community, and ocean action. Whether you dive daily or have never worn a mask, this is a week for everyone.
Koh Tao action with DJL and Assava
On Koh Tao, our partner centres Davy Jones Locker (DJL) and Assava Diving Resort are leading the way. At DJL diving, they will run Dive Against Debris dives and presentations. These dives are open to certified divers who want to make an impact. They are also organising beach clean-ups and coral and fish ID presentations and dives. Families, friends, and travellers are all welcome. Their team will also offer PADI AWARE specialties. Certified divers and dive professionals can complete them during the week. Conservation with Assava Diving Resort
Our partner Assava Diving Resort will run daily conservation activities too. Join coral reef conservation dives. Learn about turtle and shark protection. Take part in distinctive mangrove and land conservation talks. Non-divers can join the presentations and feel part of the mission. Assava’s instructors will also teach the full range of PADI AWARE specialties. You can leave with new skills and a fresh outlook. You can download their schedule for the week here.
Coral restoration in Roatan
In Honduras, Roatan Divers are restoring reefs one dive at a time. They manage coral nurseries and organise hands-on restoration dives. Guests can help replant corals and see the results firsthand. They also run conservation internships for divers wanting more experience. During PADI AWARE week they will host special coral dives and community events. It is the perfect way to combine diving with giving back.
Ocean care in Tulum
Across the ocean in Mexico, Infinity2Diving in Tulum are adding their energy. Their team focus on conservation and education year-round. During PADI AWARE week they will run reef and cenote clean-ups. Expect presentations about marine debris and local conservation efforts. Their crew welcome both divers and non-divers. It is a great chance to discover how small actions create big change.
A global movement
These are only a few examples. Our other partner centres across the world are planning daily events. Every location will join in the mission.
