Before attending your PADI IDC on Koh Lipe, you will receive the PADI IDC digital crewpak, which contains sixteen eLearning sections. These are designed to prepare you for your in class workshops and teaching presentations.

Working through these materials before your PADI IDC will ensure that you arrive well prepared for the theory, standards and workshop subjects we cover together.

The PADI IDC on Koh Lipe package is 68,900 THB including accommodation and is designed to provide everything you need for a successful Instructor Development Course.

We currently have the following confirmed dates for the PADI IDC:

• 17 to 30 January 2026
  • PADI Instructor Examination: 31 January and 1 February
• 9 to 22 April 2026
  • PADI Instructor Examination: 23 and 24 April

Places are limited in order to maintain small group sizes and high quality mentoring. Early booking is recommended, especially for the upcoming January programme.
When you are ready to take the next step, your PADI IDC on Koh Lipe will provide a supportive, well structured and enjoyable route into your new career as a PADI Instructor.

To enroll in the PADI Instructor Course in Koh Lipe, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old. 
• Be a certified Divemaster (or an equivalent certification from another agency).
• Have been a certified diver for at least six months. 
• Have at least 90 logged dives (with experience in night, deep, and navigation diving) before the course starts, and 100 logged dives before the Instructor Exam.
•  (IE) Be medically fit for diving, with a physician-signed medical statement issued within the last 12 months. 
• Have completed CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months (The PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course fulfills this requirement)

Yes, most likely. As of 2025, Thailand offers a 60-day visa exemption for many nationalities—more than enough to complete the IDC and IE. However, visa rules can change. Always check the latest entry conditions for your passport before you travel. If needed, you can also apply for a tourist visa or extend your stay at a local immigration office.
