1. Your IDC eLearning:

Scuba Dive Online offers a unique eLearning experience, covering 16 vital subjects. From course scheduling and risk management to dive theory for professionals, using good judgement and problem solving, how to prepare classroom, confined and open water presentations and more. The PADI IDC eLearning uses quizzes and knowledge reviews after each chapter to ensure a strong grasp of the material.
In addition, the Scuba Dive Online team include complimentary online presentations and recordings, covering the five dive theory topics. These are Physics of Diving, Physiology, Diving Skills and Environment, Equipment, and Decompression Theory. Also we enhance your understanding through our online dive theory practice exams, closely tracking your progress and providing remedial training if necessary
2. Your online face-to-face IDC LIVE online:
Once all eLearning segments are completed, you are ready to start your online face-to-face IDC. Scuba Dive Online creates a 7-day schedule for you, bringing you face-to-face (virtually) with your PADI Course Directors and fellow candidates. These live sessions, spanning around 3 hours daily, are a highly interactive and collaborative environment.
The workshops and presentations cover essential topics such as learning and teaching strategies, PADI course scheduling, risk management, knowledge development presentations, teaching in confined and open water, effective sales approaches and more. Using the latest classroom educational technology, IDC candidates use virtual swimming pools and open water environments to demonstrate student control, as well as interactive scheduling boards and live quizzes. You can join us for these session starting on the 1st or 15th of every month.
In addition, during these sessions together, valuable connections and friendships with fellow candidates are made. This sets the stage for a collaborative and supportive future as a scuba diving instructor.
3. Your In-Water Workshops:
Immerse yourself in the in-water workshops, a vital aspect of the PADI Instructor Development Course. This stage offers practical, hands-on experience where you refine your diving skills, conduct Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) workshops, and master confined and open water teaching presentations, fine tune your rescue skills, and more.
Depending on your chosen destination, this in-water section takes around 8 days.

4. Your PADI Instructor Exams (IE):
Finish your IDC journey on a high note by excelling in your PADI Instructor Exams (IE). Over two days, PADI head office examiners evaluate your readiness to teach PADI diving courses.
