Phuket has been at the heart of Thailand’s diving industry for decades. From Chalong, boats head to Racha, Phi Phi and dive sites throughout the Andaman Sea. Therefore, you can experience reefs, wrecks, walls and deeper sites during your time here. There is plenty to enjoy away from diving too. Phuket has beaches, restaurants, markets and nightlife, with accommodation for most budgets. Meanwhile, Phuket International Airport makes travelling here easy.

MEET PADI COURSE DIRECTOR GUY CORSELLIS
Guy Corsellis has spent 30 years training PADI Professionals. He has also been an award winning PADI Course Director for 26 years.
Previously, Guy worked for PADI as an Instructor Development Consultant and Regional Training Consultant. His international experience is particularly valuable for candidates who prefer to learn in another language.
Guy teaches in English, French, German, Thai, Dutch and Flemish. In addition, he can evaluate presentations in Spanish and Italian.
Throughout your IDC, Guy focuses on developing you as an PADI Instructor, not simply preparing you for the IE.
CLASSIC OR HYBRID PADI IDC
You can complete the full 14 day PADI IDC in Phuket or choose our Hybrid
programme.
With the Hybrid option, you complete our IDC LIVE online classroom, before
travelling to Thailand.
The IDC LIVE online programme runs for seven days, with three-hour sessions each
day. Afterwards, you travel to Phuket and join Guy for your practical in-water
Instructor Development training.
Both options lead to the same PADI Instructor Examination.
PREPARE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Good preparation gives you more time to concentrate on Instructor Development.
First, you complete the sixteen PADI IDC eLearning sections.
You also receive our Digital Instructor’s eBundle. This includes our study resources
and unlimited digital Dive Theory and PADI Standards practice exams.
Therefore, you can arrive in Phuket prepared and ready.

Yes. First, complete the PADI IDC eLearning. Then choose the full 14 day IDC in Phuket or begin with IDC LIVE online.
IDC LIVE covers the classroom curriculum over seven days, with three-hour sessions each day.
Afterwards, Hybrid candidates travel to Phuket for their 10 days practical training with Guy.
We recommend completing IDC LIVE shortly before your Phuket programme. This keeps the classroom work fresh.
The complete PADI IDC in Phuket costs 68,900 THB.
The price is the same for the Hybrid and 14 day options.

To join your PADI IDC, you must:
✅ Be at least 18 years old
✅ Be a PADI Divemaster or qualifying professional
✅ Have been a certified diver for at least six months
✅ Have 100 logged dives before the Instructor Examination
✅ Have current CPR and First Aid training
✅ Have a Fit to Dive medical within the last 12 months
Your experience must also include night, deep and navigation diving.

Phuket is an excellent base for exploring the Andaman Sea.
From Chalong, boats visit Racha Yai, Racha Noi, Phi Phi, Shark Point and other
local dive sites. All4Diving also uses its own boat for training and recreational diving.
The variety continues underwater. Depending on the site, you can experience reefs,
walls, wrecks and deeper diving.
Therefore, there is plenty to explore before or after your IDC.
Yes. After qualifying as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, you can continue with Instructor Specialty training.
You can also work towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating.
