The PADI Divemaster course was already available online, however, this new version comes with video, quizzes, knowledge reviews and exams. So, how do you complete the new Divemaster eLearning.
First of all, once ordered, Scuba Dive Online will email you a code. After you have redeemed the code, there are instructions on how to get started. We are able to follow your progress and can help you at any point during your learning.
The subjects you will be covering are:
- The roles and characteristics of a PADI Divemaster.
- Supervising diving activities.
- Assisting with student divers.
- Diver safety and risk management.
- Divemaster conducted programmes.
- Specialized skills and activities.
- The business of diving and your career.
- Awareness of the dive environment.
- Dive theory review.
Each chapter is segmented by short videos and quizzes so that you can monitor your understanding. At the end of each chapter, you will complete a knowledge review. Once all 9 knowledge reviews are completed, the final exam will unlock.
The Scuba Dive Online team will be monitoring your progress throughout. To enhance your understanding, particularly of Dive Theory, we offer live face-to-face presentations. These presentations cover the Physics of Diving, Physiology, Diving Skills and Environment, Equipment and Decompression Theory. During your course you will have unlimited access to these presentations, which will assist you with your final exam.
There is no time limit from completing the eLearning to taking the in-water part of the course as you can refresh your knowledge before you dive in.
